Meet Cherée Skewes
Cheree has worked in the medical field since she was 17. Having worked across many different roles inside the medical field in different countries Cheree has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Life changing transformations. Cheree loves seeing the transformations of patients and is rewarded knowing that she has helped (in any capacity) towards their patients’ surgical journeys.
“People are more open to discuss surgery these days.” Cheree believes the biggest change in the industry is the awareness and openness that patients now feel towards discussing surgery, she believes that plastic and cosmetic surgery is now more openly talked about and has become less of a ‘taboo’ subject. While there used to be a negative stigma associated with cosmetic surgery Cheree believes that does not seem to be as present today and that more people are now undergoing procedures to help them love themselves and feel more confident.
Fun, family, beach and pets. Whether in the practice or at home Cheree likes to keep herself busy, life with two teenagers certainly keeps her on her toes! Besides spending time with family, Cheree likes to socialise with friends, and enjoys the foodie scene in Perth (don’t we all). She also has quite a large bucket list of countries that she hopes to travel to and was lucky enough last year to spend some time in Mexico!
If you have the pleasure of meeting Cheree at the practice you will be greeted with warmth and humour; Cheree is just the person to make you feel comfortable from the moment you step foot in the practice!
Mark Hanikeri’s philosophy on breast enlargement surgery
Mark specialises in producing natural, aesthetically pleasing results from Breast Augmentation.
To do this, he believes it is essential to engage women in the decision making process. Whilst some surgeons make all the decisions for the patient including implants size, style and position, Mark believes that optimal results are achieved by considering what the patient wants from Breast enlargement surgery and using his knowledge and experience to deliver this.
Mark conducts all consultations personally and with the help of a detailed history, examination and meticulous measurements, plans the procedure to the last suture. He does not believe that patients should go into surgery unsure of the size or style of implant they will receive.
To help with the final decision, Mark offers appropriate patients the opportunity to view a 3-dimensional simulation using photographs of themselves with their anticipated selected implants. Using this and state-of-the-art patient education software, Mark uses the patient’s own photographs to show them how the operation will be performed and what their anticipated results may be.
All images as well as consultation diagrams are available to view immediately in the comfort of their own homes via a secure, dedicated web based portal using the TouchMD platform.
Mark Hanikeri is available for consultations in Subiaco, Murdoch and Albany.
